Platte RJ45-ethernetkabel ShiverPeaks 75517-SL Cat.7 slank, grijs, 7,5 m

Flat RJ45 Ethernet cable ShiverPeaks 75517-SL Cat.7 Slim in gray, 7.5 m length is designed for high-speed wired networks that require a compact, unobtrusive cable. The cable follows Cat.7 specification and uses standard RJ45 connectors to provide reliable connections for devices such as routers, switches, computers and AV equipment. Its slim, flat profile allows easy routing under carpets, along skirting boards or behind furniture while maintaining consistent signal transmission across the full length.

Advantages

The slim flat design reduces cable bulk and allows discreet installation in confined spaces without compromising on Cat.7 shielding and performance characteristics expected for high-frequency Ethernet. Robust RJ45 connectors ensure stable mating with standard ports, while the 7.5 m length covers medium-distance runs in home and office environments. The gray outer jacket provides a neutral appearance that blends with most interiors and resists standard wear from foot traffic and movement.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches and networked devices in home or small office setups
• AV systems and media players that require stable wired Ethernet
• Runs under carpets, along skirting boards and behind furniture where a low-profile cable is needed
• Temporary or semi-permanent installations where easy concealment is desirable

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.7 performance for high-speed Ethernet
• Connector type: RJ45 male on both ends
• Length: 7.5 meters
• Profile: flat / slim for low-profile routing
• Color: gray
• Construction: shielded pairs suitable for reduced crosstalk (Cat.7 typical construction)

How to use

Route the flat RJ45 cable from the network source to the target device, guiding it under carpets, along skirting boards or behind furniture as needed. Align each RJ45 connector with the device port and insert until a click confirms a secure connection. For best results avoid tight bends or kinks in the flat cable and keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic interference sources such as large transformers or unshielded power supplies. If trimming or terminating is required, use appropriate networking tools and procedures for stranded Ethernet cable.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term performance, allow gentle curves rather than sharp bends when routing the flat cable and avoid placing heavy furniture directly on top of it. Use cable clips or adhesive channels designed for flat cables to secure routing along skirting boards, and test the network connection after installation to confirm expected speeds and stability.
