AVM FRITZ!Box 7630 Wi-Fi 7 DSL-router, dual-band, tot 3.600 Mbit/s, 2,5 GbE WAN, DECT

The AVM FRITZ!Box 7630 is a compact Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) DSL router that brings next-generation wireless to ADSL and VDSL connections. It combines a built-in (V)DSL supervectoring modem, a 2.5-gigabit WAN/LAN port and dual-band Wi-Fi 7 with a combined throughput of up to 3,600 Mbit/s, alongside a full DECT telephone base station and smart home control in a single, energy-efficient unit.

Advantages

Wi-Fi 7 delivers faster, more stable and lower-latency wireless than previous generations, making the most of fast DSL lines and many simultaneous devices. The integrated supervectoring 35b modem supports VDSL up to 300 Mbit/s and ADSL2+, so no separate modem is required. A 2.5-gigabit WAN/LAN port keeps the router ready for faster broadband, while FRITZ! Mesh lets you extend coverage seamlessly with FRITZ!Repeater and FRITZ!Powerline devices. With an average power consumption of only about 8 watts, it runs efficiently around the clock.

Suitable for

• Homes and small offices on ADSL or VDSL/supervectoring connections wanting Wi-Fi 7 speed
• Households with many wireless devices needing reliable dual-band coverage
• Users who want an all-in-one router, DECT phone base and smart home hub
• Building or extending a whole-home FRITZ! Mesh network

Connect the FRITZ!Box 7630 to your DSL line (or use the 2.5-gigabit WAN/LAN port for a separate modem/fibre ONT), power it on and open the FRITZ!OS web interface or the MyFRITZ!App to run the guided setup wizard. Register cordless handsets to the DECT base, pair DECT ULE smart home devices, and add FRITZ!Repeater or FRITZ!Powerline units to extend the mesh for whole-home coverage.

Recommendations

For the best Wi-Fi 7 performance, place the router centrally and away from large metal objects, keep FRITZ!OS up to date for the latest features and security, and use Wi-Fi 7 capable client devices to benefit from the higher throughput. Where a single router cannot cover the whole home, add FRITZ! Mesh devices for consistent, seamless connectivity.
