• Input connections: battery clamps and cigarette lighter plug
• Operating temperature: -10°C to +40°C
• Standby current: <0.8A

Why choose it

The IPS-800U delivers dependable power conversion with a robust set of safety features. The modified sine wave output is suitable for a wide range of resistive and electronic loads, while the built-in USB port lets you charge phones and tablets directly. Its aluminum body dissipates heat effectively, and the fan activates only when needed, keeping noise low during light loads. With both battery clamps and a cigarette lighter plug included, installation is flexible for permanent or temporary setups.

Ideal use cases

• Running power tools and work lights at construction sites without grid access
• Charging laptops, cameras, and small appliances in RVs, boats, or cars
• Providing backup power for home electronics during short outages
• Powering medical devices like CPAP machines during travel
• Operating small kitchen appliances at tailgates or campsites

Good to know

Always verify your device's power consumption before connecting; the inverter's continuous rating is 800W, so loads with high startup surges (e.g., motors) should not exceed the 1600W peak for more than a few seconds. The unit includes protection against common electrical faults, and the wide input voltage range helps prevent damage from battery voltage fluctuations. For best results, connect directly to the battery using the clamps for loads above 150W, as the cigarette lighter socket may be limited by the vehicle's fuse rating.
