How to use

Place the Adler AD 8187 on a flat, hard surface and step onto the centre of the platform barefoot for the most accurate result. Wait until the displayed value stabilises before stepping off; the device will show weight and, when required, calculate BMI according to the entered height or preset settings. Use consistently at the same time of day, on the same surface, and under similar conditions for comparable results. Replace batteries as indicated by the manufacturer to ensure reliable operation.

Recommendations

For best accuracy, use the scale on a hard, level floor and avoid carpeted surfaces. Weigh yourself at the same time each day, preferably in light clothing or barefoot, to monitor trends rather than single readings. Consult a healthcare professional for interpretation of BMI and when making major changes to diet or exercise routines.
