Bassynthesizer Behringer TD-3-BB Blue Transparent – analoge bassline-module

The Behringer TD-3-BB Blue Transparent is an analogue bass synthesizer module crafted for producing classic acid and bassline tones. In a compact, rack- or desktop-friendly format, it combines a hands-on interface with a step sequencer and real-time performance controls to shape resonant low-end sequences. The unit is suitable for studio sound design, electronic music production and live sets where tactile control and immediate sound tweaking are required.

Advantages

The analogue signal path delivers warm, punchy bass with a resonant filter section for acidic timbres. The integrated step sequencer and accent slide features enable the creation of evolving basslines and rhythmic patterns without external sequencing gear. Compact construction and straightforward front-panel layout provide immediate access to cutoff, resonance, envelope, and decay parameters for on-the-fly sound shaping.

Suitable for

• Electronic music producers crafting acid house, techno, or synthwave basslines
• Live performers needing a compact, hands-on bassline module
• Studio sessions requiring a dedicated analogue bass sound source
• Sound designers creating low-frequency sequences and effects

Key specifications

• Analogue synthesis architecture with dedicated VCO, filter and envelope
• Onboard step sequencer with adjustable tempo and pattern programming
• Filter cutoff and resonance controls for shaping acid-style tones
• Accent and slide functions for expressive sequence movement
• Compact module format suitable for desktop or rack placement
• Front-panel knobs and switches for real-time parameter control

How to use

Connect the TD-3-BB to your mixer or audio interface using the audio output and set the output level to match your system. Use the step sequencer to enter notes and adjust tempo, then sculpt the character of the bassline with cutoff, resonance, envelope and decay controls. Apply accent and slide functions to introduce rhythmic emphasis and legato transitions between steps. For synchronization with other gear, use external clock or MIDI-to-CV solutions as required by your setup.

Recommendations

For studio tracking, route the module through a clean preamp or interface input and record dry; apply compression or saturation after recording to preserve analogue dynamics. In live situations, set up level and filter presets to recall preferred sounds quickly and monitor headroom to avoid clipping.
