Behringer BC444 headset-condensatormicrofoon, omnidirectioneel, 3,5-mm-TRS, zwart

The Behringer BC444 is a professional headworn condenser microphone engineered for clear, hands-free vocal reproduction in live performance, presentations, and fitness instruction. Its omnidirectional back-electret capsule captures sound uniformly from all directions, ensuring consistent audio even when the user moves or turns their head. With a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz, the BC444 delivers natural, full-range sound for speech and vocals. The microphone operates on a low DC voltage (1.5–10 V) supplied by a compatible bodypack transmitter, eliminating the need for batteries. A 1.2 m cable with a 3.5 mm TRS connector provides secure connectivity. The lightweight single ear-hook design offers a stable, comfortable fit for extended wear, while the included foam windscreen reduces breath and wind noise. The BC444 is an ideal choice for presenters, vocalists, and instructors who demand reliable, high-quality audio in a discreet form factor.

Advantages

The BC444 combines studio-grade condenser technology with a rugged, lightweight build. Its omnidirectional polar pattern forgives off-axis movement, maintaining consistent levels without proximity effect. The back-electret design ensures high sensitivity (-44 dB ±3 dB) and a wide dynamic range (74 dB), capturing every nuance of the voice. With a maximum SPL of 110 dB, it handles loud passages without distortion. The low-impedance output (2.2 kΩ) ensures compatibility with most wireless transmitters. The included cable clip keeps the cable secure, and the foam windscreen minimizes plosives. The microphone's metal and plastic housing withstands the rigors of daily use, making it a dependable tool for professionals.

Position the microphone capsule approximately 2–3 cm from the corner of the mouth to minimize breath noise. Use the included windscreen in outdoor or high-airflow environments. Regularly inspect the cable and connector for wear, and store the microphone in a protective case when not in use.
