BenQ LU960 standard-throw-projector 5500 ANSI lumen DLP WUXGA (1920x1200) 3D zwart

DLP Laser Projector with Easy Maintenance
Revolutionary Laser Technology
Extending its full line of revolutionary laser projectors, the world’s No.1 DLP brand BenQ presents LU960, especially designed for short throw fixed lens installation and reserves installation flexibility to merge into limited space.

Superior Brightness
Zero-deviation alignment of laser diodes boosts luminous flux into the light tunnel, improving light efficacy to 5,500 ANSI lumens.

Superior Performance
Dual synchronized color wheels utilize an additive yellow segment, stimulating precise RGBY spectra for optimal chromatic performance.

Superior Durability
Comprising over two million micromirrors that reflect pure light through the color wheel, the DLP chip is hermetically sealed to resist heat for over 200,000 hours without degradation.

DLP Technology for Long Lasting Vibrant Color
BenQ laser projectors run on Academy Award-winning DLP technology to deliver long-lasting and reliable color for the life of the projector. The DLP chip is rated for 200,000 hours and will display stunning whites and accurate colors without the risk of yellowing over time.

Superior Dustproofing for Severe Conditions with IP5X Certification
BenQ laser projectors are designed with sealed laser modules and enclosed light engines to protect the DMD chip, color wheel sensor, laser package, and other optical components. This lock-and-key design hermetically seals the engine from dust to prolong projector lifespan.

Anti-Dust Accumulation Sensor to Resist Dust Buildup
Incorporating a color wheel sensor with an ingenious anti-dust buildup features, BenQ LU960 prolongs optimal performance by repelling dust that can accumulate on traditional sensor to block the IR signal and cause flickering, abnormal colors, or even shutdown.

24/7 Operation
BenQ laser light source supports continuous 24/7 operation and is suitable for public display applications in museums and exhibitions. Users can choose from three different light source modes to optimize energy consumption and delivers up to 70,000 hours under Dimming Mode.

High Quality Viewing Experience for Training Fidelity

High Brightness Vivid Clarity in Bright Ambient Environments
LU960’s 5500AL high brightness produces wondrous displays in bright, compact exhibition spaces with superb image quality.

WUXGA Resolution for Enhanced Detail and Expanded Content
With an impressive WUXGA (1920 x 1200) native resolution that far exceeds Full HD 1080p, BenQ LU960 laser projector offers greater details and stunning image clarity when projecting high resolution images.

Fast Mode Provide the Most In-time Visual Feedback for Your Simulator
System latency, which is the lag between the time an operator applies an input and the simulator responds to provide both visual and motion cues, is inevitable in simulators. As a part of visual systems in simulators and based on expertise gained from experience with near-zero latency displays used in gaming, LU960 employs a Fast Mode to provide latency as low as 16.67ms*(@WUXGA 60Hz).

Cinematic Grade 92% Rec.709 Color Coverage for Optimal Color Performance
LU960’s powerful laser projection utilizes a dual color wheel system to produce unparalleled color performance that achieves a 92% Rec.709 color coverage. By increasing color ratios and the purity of RGBY color, LU960 dramatically enhances color saturation to ensure superior presentation quality.

White Balance Calibration for Seamless Edge Blending
BenQ exclusive white balance adjustments can reduce white balance variables between images projected from different projectors to such a low level that the most people cannot see any difference. This allows for seamless and accurate picture quality without disruptive discrepancies.

Ensure Consistent Brightness Blending with Custom Light Mode
Custom Light Mode modulates light power output from 25% to 100% at a 1% rate, optimizing the projected image in a variety of ambient lighting situations. It is especially useful for blending consistent brightness across multiple projections.

Gamma Selection
Select Gamma for your preference and optimizing image quality between input source and picture brightness.

Installation Flexibility in a Compact Fixed Lens Projector

Zoom and Lens Shift for Mounting Flexibility
The LU960 features both a 1.5X zoom function and vertical/horizontal lens shift to enable you to mount the projector in a protected area, while still enabling you to have a fully aligned image on your screen. You can move the image up and down up to 62% of the screen height – and adjust the horizontal position by 24% for an off-axis mounting location. The zoom lens can enlarge or reduce the image to enable you to move your mounting position as much as a foot on a fourteen-foot-wide screen.

Short Throw Design for Unobstructed Viewing Without Space Constraints
Ideal for indoor simulation and retail applications, the LU960ST is equipped with a short-throw lens that will fill up a 12-foot-wide screen from less than 10 feet away. This enables you to place the projector so that you can stand closer to the screen without casting a shadow.

Zoom and Lens Shift for Mounting Flexibility
The LU960 features both a 1.1X zoom function and vertical/horizontal lens shift to enable you to mount the projector in a protected area, while still enabling you to have a fully aligned image on your screen. You can move the image up and down up to 62% of the screen height – and adjust the horizontal position by 24% for an off-axis mounting location. The zoom lens can enlarge or reduce the image to enable you to move your mounting position as much as a foot on a fourteen-foot-wide screen.

360° and Portrait Projection Accommodate Different Spaces
Laser technology guarantees reliable projection from any angle. Dynamic installation options such as 360° rotation and portrait applications, allows projection onto ceiling, walls, floors or angled signage.

Lens Lock & Metal Lens Barrel
Most of the simulation solutions use several projectors doing blending to create a panoramic view. The Lens Lock can fix the final position, focus and zoom of the lens, avoiding the readjustment effort if any mistouching. In addition, the metal barrel lens helps the zoom and focus adjustment to be more stable and accurate comparing with plastic lens.

DisplayPort for High Resolution and Accurate Color Transmission
LU960 is equipped with a certified DisplayPort 1.2a. DisplayPort can be used to transmit audio and video signals simultaneously. The high bandwidth of DisplayPort 1.2a allows increased resolutions, higher refresh rates, and greater color depth. In addition, the two little barb structures on the connector provide a friction lock and an optional mechanical latch.

3D Sync In /3D Sync out
Connect up to 4 projectors and project 3D content together by a single PC.

Centralized Remote Management

DMS Local Offers Centralized Control Over Multiple Displays
For users who would like to control all their displays remotely via LAN, you can download and install the DMS Local software for your system. DMS Local is a Device Information and Management software for use in the Windows operating system. DMS Local also supports Agent Mode which allows you to integrate your DMS Local settings to the cloud-based DMS Cloud.

Network/Web Control
BenQ laser projectors are compatible with Creston, AMX and PJ Link control systems for convenient system integration with various third-party components and reduced cost to centrally maintain multiple projectors.

HDBaseT for Uncompressed Transmission Up to 100m and Control
Groundbreaking HDBaseT connectivity combines video, audio, RS-232 and LAN signal control signals from multiple sources including: PCs, laptops, document cameras, Blu-ray and DVDs onto a single RJ-45 cable. This ensures seamless transmissions up to 100 meters.
