Beschermende overall 3M 4520 groen wit 3XL volwassenen SMS-materiaal

The 3M 4520 protective coverall in green and white, size 3XL, is a single-use garment made from Spunbond Meltblown Spunbond (SMS) material. Designed for adult users, this coverall provides a lightweight barrier against non-hazardous dust, dirt and light liquid splashes while maintaining breathability. The full-body design includes elasticated cuffs, ankles and an attached hood for increased coverage and compatibility with other personal protective equipment.

Advantages

The SMS construction balances liquid resistance and air permeability, offering a compromise between protection and wearer comfort. Elasticated openings at the wrists, ankles and face seal reduce the risk of ingress while enabling quick donning and doffing. The integrated hood and full-length front closure deliver continuous coverage without additional assembly. The garment is disposable, which reduces contamination risks associated with reuse and simplifies post-use handling.

How to use

Prior to use, inspect the coverall for visible damage such as tears or punctures. Put on appropriate base protective equipment as required, then step into the legs and pull the coverall up, inserting the arms and adjusting the hood and elasticated openings for a snug but comfortable fit. Fasten the front closure completely. After the task, remove the coverall carefully to avoid contact with the contaminated exterior, turning it inside out as you remove it, and dispose of it according to local regulations for single-use protective garments.

Recommendations

Use this coverall where breathable, disposable protection is required against dust, debris and light liquid splashes. Combine with suitable eye, hand and respiratory protection when task risk assessment indicates additional barriers are necessary. Do not use for tasks involving hazardous chemicals, high-pressure jets, or where certified chemical/biological protection is mandated.
