Beveiligingscamera Bosch NDI-3702-AL Fixed Dome 2MP IR

The Bosch NDI-3702-AL Fixed Dome 2MP IR is a compact network surveillance camera designed to capture clear 2 megapixel video with reliable low-light performance. Equipped with a 3.3–10.2 mm varifocal lens and integrated infrared illumination, the camera provides sharp daytime color images and usable monochrome video in darkness. The unit supports essential analytics such as motion detection and permits remote viewing and configuration over IP networks, making it suitable for continuous monitoring in a range of environments.

Advantages

The camera combines a 2MP sensor with a varifocal 3.3–10.2 mm lens to deliver flexible field-of-view options while maintaining image detail. Built-in IR LEDs extend visibility in low-light and no-light conditions without additional external lighting. Network connectivity enables remote access, configuration and video streaming, and onboard motion-detection features reduce the need for constant manual monitoring. The dome form factor offers discreet installation and basic environmental protection for indoor and sheltered outdoor locations.

Suitable for

• Indoor retail spaces and checkout areas
• Small to medium office interiors and corridors
• Entrances, lobbies and reception areas
• Parking garages and covered outdoor walkways
• Warehouse aisles and loading bays with shelter

• Image sensor resolution: 2 megapixels
• Lens type and focal range: varifocal 3.3–10.2 mm
• Infrared illumination: integrated IR LEDs for night vision
• Video modes: daytime color and night-time monochrome
• Analytics: motion detection
• Network: IP-based remote access and streaming
• Form factor: fixed dome

How to use

Mount the dome at a height and angle that provide the desired coverage, using the manufacturer’s mounting template and hardware. Connect the camera to the local IP network via Ethernet; if supported, use Power over Ethernet (PoE) for simplified power and data wiring. Access the camera’s web interface or compatible video management system to set resolution, adjust the 3.3–10.2 mm lens for the preferred field of view, configure IR settings, and enable motion detection zones. Verify night-time performance after installation and adjust angle or focus if necessary.

Recommendations

For consistent image quality, position the camera to avoid direct exposure to strong light sources and clean the dome cover regularly. Use PoE where available to simplify installation and ensure stable power. When monitoring critical areas, integrate the camera into a network video recorder (NVR) or cloud service to maintain continuous recording and centralized event management.
