Beveiligingscamera-microfoon ACTi PMIC-0100 — omnidirectionele bedrade microfoon, 3,5 mm, 2,3 m kabel, zwart/rood/wit

ACTi PMIC-0100 is a wired security camera microphone with an omnidirectional pickup pattern and a 3.5 mm (1/8") device interface. The microphone includes a 2.3 m cable and comes with DC and RCA connector cables for integration with compatible ACTi cameras and recorders. It is designed for indoor ambient audio capture to complement video surveillance, support monitoring tasks and provide additional evidence in security applications.

Advantages

The omnidirectional capsule captures sound from all directions, ensuring even coverage across a room without the need for precise aiming. The 3.5 mm connector provides a standard wired interface for straightforward connection to many cameras and recorders, while the included DC and RCA cables simplify installation and power/line-level interfacing. The 2.3 m cable length allows flexible placement near cameras or in concealed positions, and the available color options (black, red, white) help match the microphone to different installations.

Suitable for

• Indoor surveillance in offices, shops and public areas
• Monitoring of reception desks, waiting rooms and corridors
• Evidence audio capture to supplement recorded video
• Integration with compatible ACTi cameras and network recorders

How to use

Install the ACTi PMIC-0100 near the camera or in the area where ambient audio is required, taking care to avoid direct exposure to water or mechanical damage. Connect the 3.5 mm plug to the microphone input of a compatible camera or recorder; if needed, use the supplied RCA cable to interface with line-level inputs or the DC cable for power connections according to the recording device's specifications. Route the 2.3 m cable neatly and secure it to prevent strain on connectors. After connection, adjust recording levels in the camera or recorder settings to achieve clear audio without clipping.

Recommendations

Place the microphone centrally in the monitored area for balanced coverage and keep it away from noisy equipment such as HVAC units to reduce background noise. Verify local laws and privacy regulations before enabling audio recording and configure audio gain and filters on the recorder to match the acoustic environment.
