Bewegingsmelder bedraad wand REV 0075184112

The REV wired wall motion detector REV 0075184112 provides reliable presence detection for residential and commercial spaces. Designed for wall mounting, the detector senses motion up to 12 meters and is built to operate on standard 230 V / 50 Hz mains. With an IP44 protection class, it is suitable for covered outdoor locations as well as indoor installations, offering robust performance for lighting control and basic intruder detection when integrated into compatible systems.

Advantages

This wired motion detector offers a clear detection range of up to 12 meters and consistent operation on 230 V / 50 Hz supply. The IP44 rating protects the sensor against splashing water and limited dust ingress, making it suitable for sheltered outdoor mounting and indoor corridors. As a hardwired device, it provides continuous power without batteries and can be integrated into existing lighting or alarm circuits for automatic activation.

Suitable for

• Automatic lighting control in hallways, stairwells and entrances
• Sheltered outdoor areas such as porches and carports
• Basic presence sensing for small commercial premises

Key specifications

• Detection distance: up to 12 meters
• Mounting type: wall-mounted
• Protection rating: IP44
• Supply voltage: 230 V
• Frequency: 50 Hz

How to use

Install the motion detector on a stable wall surface at a recommended height according to the installation instructions supplied with the product. Connect the detector to the 230 V mains and to the load or control input of the lighting or alarm circuit following applicable electrical regulations and with power disconnected. Adjust the sensor orientation to cover the desired detection zone and test the detection range by walking across the monitored area to verify activation and coverage.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, mount the detector in a sheltered position away from direct exposure to heavy rain and strong drafts. Avoid aiming the sensor at heat sources, large reflective surfaces or areas with frequent small animal movement to reduce false triggers. Periodically inspect the installation and clean the sensor window gently to maintain detection sensitivity.
