Bewegingsmelder Nous E2 ZigBee PIR, detectiebereik 8 m, detectiehoek 120°

Nous PIR Motion Sensor ZigBee E2 detects human movement within up to 8 meters and a 120° field of view, communicating over ZigBee for integration with smart home hubs. The compact wireless sensor is designed to trigger automations, scenes, and alarms in compatible ZigBee ecosystems and works with the Nous E2 model identifier.

Advantages

The sensor offers reliable passive infrared (PIR) detection with an 8 m range and 120° coverage, low-power operation for extended battery life, and ZigBee connectivity for seamless integration into supported smart home networks. Its compact form factor allows for flexible placement on walls or ceilings and compatibility with common ZigBee controllers ensures straightforward setup and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Home automation — triggering lights, scenes, or climate actions
• Security — detecting intrusions or activating alarms
• Energy saving — switching off devices when rooms are unoccupied
• Smart home expansions — adding motion-based controls to existing ZigBee systems

How to use

Install the motion sensor on a wall or ceiling at the recommended height so the detection zone covers the intended area. Pair the device with a compatible ZigBee hub following the hub’s inclusion procedure. Configure trigger actions or automations in your smart home app to respond to motion events, and test detection by walking through the coverage zone to verify correct placement and sensitivity.

Recommendations

Avoid installing the sensor directly opposite heat sources, air vents, or windows with direct sunlight to reduce false triggers. Place the device at a height that maximizes coverage of walking paths and keep firmware and hub integrations up to date for best performance.
