Blindplaat ROLINE 19 inch 3HE, staal, grijs

ROLINE 19-inch 3U blind panel is a steel filler panel in a grey finish designed to close unused 3U spaces in 19" equipment racks. It helps prevent dust ingress, improves airflow management and gives a neat, uniform appearance to server rooms, data centres and network cabinets.

Advantages

The steel construction provides durability and stability while the grey finish matches standard rack aesthetics. By occupying empty 3U slots the panel reduces dust entry and helps maintain consistent airflow paths within the enclosure, which supports cooling efficiency and organisation.

Suitable for

• 19-inch server racks and network cabinets
• Data centres and server rooms
• Telecommunications and IT equipment enclosures

When it may not be suitable

This blind panel is intended for standard 19" racks and specifically fills a 3U vertical space; it may not fit proprietary or non-standard enclosures with different mounting profiles or depths. It does not provide EMI/RFI shielding or cable management features.

Key specifications

• Form factor: 3U
• Material: steel
• Colour: grey
• Mounting: fits standard 19" profile rails

How to use

Align the blind panel with the available 3U space on the rack’s 19" profile rails, then fix it into place using the rack’s standard mounting screws or fasteners. Ensure the panel sits flush with adjacent equipment to maintain intended airflow paths and visual uniformity.

What to consider before purchase

• Confirm the rack uses standard 19" profile rails and that a 3U filler is required
• Verify rack depth and mounting screw type are compatible with a flat steel panel
• Determine whether additional features (ventilation, EMI shielding) are needed

Recommendations

Install blind panels in every unused 3U section to reduce dust ingress and to guide airflow through active equipment; combine with proper cable management and blanking panels in adjacent units for best cooling results.
