BlueOptics duplex glasvezel-patchkabel SC-SC OM3 2 meter 2 m male/male

The BlueOptics Duplex LWL Patchkabel SC-SC OM3 2 Meter is a 2.0 m multimode fiber patch cord with SC connectors on both ends, designed for high-speed data transmission in data centres and telecommunication environments. It offers low insertion loss and high return loss, and is compliant with Telcordia GR-326-Core for reliable interconnection between multimode fiber devices such as patch panels and switches.

Advantages

The cable provides high performance at a cost-effective price, featuring standardized SC-SC connectors and OM3 multimode fiber for enhanced bandwidth over short to medium distances. Manufactured to meet Telcordia GR-326-Core requirements, it ensures consistent return loss and insertion loss characteristics suitable for professional network installations.

How to use

Inspect connectors and cable for visible damage and remove protective caps before use. Route the duplex patch cable between the SC ports on the devices or patch panels, taking care to maintain proper bend radius for multimode fiber. Plug each SC connector into the corresponding SC adapter or port until it clicks into place. Test the link with appropriate optical test equipment to verify insertion loss and continuity after installation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid tight bends and excessive tension on the cable, keep connectors covered when not in use, and confirm compatibility with your equipment’s multimode OM3 specifications and connector type.
