Netwerkkabel LogiLink 5m Cat.6 RJ-45 S/FTP blauw

The LogiLink 5m Cat.6 RJ-45 S/FTP Blue is a 5‑metre networking cable designed for high‑speed Ethernet connections. It uses S/FTP (screened foil twisted pair) construction with PIMF (pairs in metal foil) shielding and bare copper conductors, and is fitted with RJ‑45 connectors on both ends. The cable jacket is LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) and the product meets ISO/IEC 11801, EN50288 and TIA/EIA 568‑B.2‑1 standards.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding and PIMF structure reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting reliable signal transmission for Cat.6 networks. Bare copper conductors ensure good conductivity and stable performance. The LSZH jacket minimises toxic smoke in case of fire and the 5 m length offers flexible placement of network devices. Compliant with international cabling standards for compatibility and performance assurance.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches and networked devices in offices and homes
• Wired Ethernet setups requiring Cat.6 performance
• Environments where reduced interference is important (near other cables or electronic equipment)
• Installations that prefer LSZH cable jackets for safety

Key specifications

• Cable type: Cat.6 S/FTP (PIMF)
• Length: 5 m
• Connectors: RJ‑45 to RJ‑45
• Conductor: Bare copper, AWG 27/7
• Jacket: LSZH (low smoke zero halogen)
• Standards: ISO/IEC 11801, EN50288, TIA/EIA 568‑B.2‑1
• Colour: Blue
• Weight: 160 g

How to use

Plug one RJ‑45 connector into the network port of your router, switch or device and the other connector into the destination device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid excessive bending or tight bends at the connectors; maintain gentle curves and secure with cable ties if needed. For permanent installations, follow local cabling practices and avoid running high‑power electrical lines in parallel to minimise interference.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat.6 S/FTP cable for Gigabit Ethernet or lower‑speed applications. Avoid sharp bends and protect connectors from strain. If running the cable through ducts or conduits, check clearance and heat sources; for installations with strict fire‑safety requirements, the LSZH jacket provides reduced smoke and halogen emissions.
