Lichtgeleider-patchkabel CBO SFP5252FU15MKB 15 m MPO OM4, magenta

CBO Fiber patch cable SFP5252FU15MKB is a 15 m MPO OM4 multimode trunk cable in magenta designed for linking MPO-equipped network devices and fiber panels. The factory-terminated MPO end provides consistent optical performance and simplifies installation in data centers and telecom racks. The OM4 multimode fiber supports high-speed multimode links and parallel optics over short to medium distances where low insertion loss and reliable connectivity are required.

Advantages

The magenta 15 m MPO OM4 trunk cable offers a ready-to-use, factory-terminated connector that reduces installation time and variability compared with field-terminated alternatives. OM4 multimode fiber delivers improved bandwidth and lower modal dispersion for higher data rates on short to medium reach links. The standardized MPO connector supports parallel optics and dense cabling layouts in equipment racks and patch panels, while the colored jacket streamlines identification and management within structured cabling systems.

Key specifications

How to use

Route the CBO fiber patch cable along the designated cable management paths in the rack or tray, avoiding sharp bends and excessive stress on the MPO connector. Align and insert the MPO connector into compatible MPO ports on network devices or patch panels until the connector latches. For parallel optics deployments, ensure correct orientation and polarity according to equipment requirements. Verify link status and perform optical loss or continuity tests after installation to confirm signal integrity.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable following standard fiber-optic care: protect connector endfaces with dust caps when not in use, avoid bending below the specified minimum bend radius, and keep the cable free from kinks or crushing forces. Use the magenta jacket as part of a color-coded scheme to simplify maintenance and traceability in multi-cable installations.
