MiniSAS-kabel CBO 3 m — Amphenol model 10117949-4030LF, 3-meter externe MiniSAS-datakabel

MiniSAS cable CBO 3 m is an external high-speed serial attached SCSI data cable compatible with common MiniSAS ports. The three-meter length provides extended reach for connecting servers, storage enclosures, HBAs or RAID controllers in rack and workstation environments. The cable implements the standardized MiniSAS interface to ensure reliable signal routing for storage and infrastructure setups that require SAS connectivity.

Advantages

The cable offers a balance of length and signal integrity suitable for short to medium interconnects in server rooms and data centers. Its external MiniSAS design simplifies connections between host adapters and external storage devices. The construction is intended to maintain stable data transfer rates and reduce errors over the intended 3 m span, providing a standardized option for system installers and technicians.

Suitable for

• Connecting external storage enclosures to host adapters or RAID controllers
• Interconnecting servers and external SAS devices in rack-mounted setups
• Replacing or standardizing MiniSAS external links during infrastructure maintenance

Key specifications

• Cable type: external MiniSAS (SAS) data cable
• Length: 3 meters
• Connector style: MiniSAS external connectors on both ends
• Intended use: high-speed serial attached SCSI data transfer between host and external storage
• Application environment: rack, server room, workstation and data center interconnects

How to use

Align the MiniSAS connectors with the corresponding external SAS ports on the host adapter and the storage device, then insert until the connector seats securely. Avoid forcing connectors at an angle and ensure devices are powered down if required by the equipment manufacturer before connecting or disconnecting. Route the cable to prevent sharp bends and to minimize interference with cooling airflow within racks.

Recommendations

For stable performance, use within the specified 3 m length and avoid tight bends or kinks. Store and handle the cable to prevent damage to connector housings. Follow the host and storage vendor guidelines for hot-plugging to prevent data loss.
