BlueOptics SFP3333EU7.5MK InfiniBand glasvezelkabel 7,5 m ST

The BlueOptics SFP3333EU7.5MK InfiniBand fibre optic cable 7.5 m ST is a multimode optical link designed for high-speed, full-duplex data transmission. With ST connectors on both ends and a 7.5 meter length, it provides a reliable physical connection for network devices that support InfiniBand interfaces. The cable is intended for use in environments that require low-latency, high-throughput links such as data centres and high-performance computing racks.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable delivers stable full-duplex communication and consistent signal integrity across its 7.5 m span. ST connectors provide secure mechanical coupling and straightforward insertion/removal for common networking hardware. The design minimises electromagnetic interference and supports high-bandwidth InfiniBand links, helping maintain predictable performance in dense cabling environments.

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces for cleanliness before installation and clean if necessary using appropriate fibre-cleaning tools. Align each ST connector with the corresponding port and insert until the connector locks into the bayonet coupling. Ensure the cable follows proper bend-radius guidelines and avoid tight loops or sharp bends that could impair optical performance. Verify link status on connected devices and perform any required module or port configuration according to the host hardware documentation.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable in a dry, dust-free environment and keep connector dust caps on when not in use. Use fibre-specific cleaning and inspection tools to maintain optimal signal quality. When planning cabling runs, allow service loops and secure cables to reduce strain on connectors and maintain consistent performance in rack and conduit installations.
