BNC-kabel ShiverPeaks 77502 RG-coaxkabel voor video- en signaaloverdracht

BNC Cable ShiverPeaks 77502 RG coaxial cable for video and signal transmission is a flexible RG-series coaxial lead with standard BNC male-to-male connectors designed for analogue video, baseband signal and general-purpose instrumentation connections. The cable offers compatibility with CCTV systems, broadcast equipment, test instruments and other devices that use BNC interfaces. Its construction follows the RG coaxial design to maintain signal integrity over short to moderate distances in fixed installations and patching applications.

Advantages

This BNC cable provides a reliable BNC connection with straightforward plug-and-play installation and consistent impedance characteristics suited for analogue video and signal lines. The cable’s flexible jacket and standard connector form factor simplify routing and reconfiguration in racks, junction boxes and equipment panels. Because it is an RG-type coaxial cable, it helps reduce signal loss and interference compared with untwisted pair solutions over comparable distances when used for baseband video and RF-signalling where appropriate.

Suitable for

• CCTV camera connections and security video patching
• Broadcast and baseband video links in studio or field setups
• Connecting oscilloscopes, signal generators and test equipment
• Short-run patching between equipment racks and junction panels

Key specifications

• Cable type: RG-series coaxial
• Connector type: BNC male to BNC male
• Impedance: 50 Ohm characteristic impedance suitable for RF and signal test use
• Function: Analogue video and general signal transmission
• Construction: Flexible jacket for ease of routing in installations

How to use

Insert the BNC connectors into the matching BNC female sockets and rotate the coupling nut until it locks to establish a secure connection. Ensure connectors are fully seated and the mating surfaces are clean to minimize contact resistance and signal degradation. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, kinks and proximity to strong electromagnetic noise sources. For permanent installations, secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable ties without compressing the jacket.

Recommendations

Use this cable for short to moderate length runs where analogue video or test-signal fidelity is required. Verify that the 50 Ohm characteristic impedance matches the connected equipment to prevent reflections. In environments with strong RF or electrical noise, consider additional shielding or using a higher-specification coaxial type if longer runs or higher frequency signals are needed.
