Boor Bosch CYL-9 1,2 cm diameter 90 mm lengte

The Bosch CYL-9 drill bit, with a 1.2 cm diameter and 90 mm length, is designed for precise drilling in soft to medium density tiles, porcelain, ceramics and non-toughened glass. It offers a durable cutting edge suitable for professional and DIY projects where clean, accurate holes are required. The drill bit is finished in white and matched to low-speed, non-impact drilling applications.

Advantages

The CYL-9 provides reliable performance when used at low speeds without impact, delivering controlled cutting in brittle materials. Its white coating helps identify the bit during work, and the 90 mm length gives sufficient reach for common tiling and fixture installations. No cooling is necessary during normal use.

Suitable for

• Drilling holes in soft to medium density tiles
• Porcelain and ceramic tile installations
• Drilling non-toughened (annealed) glass for light fixtures and fittings
• Precision DIY and professional tile work where low-speed, non-impact drilling is required

How to use

Install the Bosch CYL-9 into a drill capable of low-speed operation. Mark the drilling point, secure the workpiece, and start drilling at low RPM without using the hammer/impact function. Apply steady, moderate pressure and allow the bit to cut; withdraw periodically if needed to clear debris. No external cooling is required under normal conditions.

Recommendations

For safe and accurate results, use a drill with reliable speed control, clamp tiles or glass securely, and avoid impact modes. Replace the bit if visible wear or chipping appears to maintain clean hole edges.
