Bosch 1 618 596 260 boor hamerboor 1 stk.

The Bosch 1 618 596 260 hammer drill bit is designed for use with rotary hammers to deliver reliable performance when drilling into concrete, masonry and similar hard materials. With a diameter of 1.8 cm, this drill bit provides a balance between hole size and material removal rate, enabling efficient penetration while maintaining accuracy. The tool features a robust construction intended for frequent use in construction and renovation tasks.

Advantages

This hammer drill bit combines durable materials and precise geometry to resist wear and maintain effective cutting edges under impact and rotation. The diameter and shank interface are optimized for rotary-hammer operation to ensure secure fit and consistent energy transfer. Its design reduces the need for frequent replacement and supports steady drilling speed and accuracy across repeated applications.

Suitable for

• Drilling holes in concrete and reinforced concrete
• Masonry work including brick and block
• Installing anchors, dowels and fasteners
• Professional construction and heavy-duty renovation tasks
• DIY projects requiring larger diameter holes in hard substrates

Key specifications

• Type: hammer/rotary-hammer drill bit
• Diameter: 1.8 cm
• Compatible tool type: rotary hammer
• Intended materials: concrete, masonry, stone and similar hard substrates
• Construction: impact-resistant cutting geometry and durable steel body

How to use

Select a compatible rotary hammer and secure the bit according to the tool manufacturer’s instructions. Mark the drilling position, start at low speed to establish the hole and then apply steady pressure while allowing the hammer action to do the work. Periodically withdraw the bit to clear debris and prevent clogging; use water cooling only if recommended by the rotary hammer tool guidelines. Replace the bit if cutting performance noticeably declines.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection and gloves. Ensure the rotary hammer is set to the correct mode for hammer drilling and verify the shank is properly locked in the chuck. Match bit diameter to anchor or fastener size and avoid excessive side loading to extend tool life.
