Bosch GBH 2-28 F 4000 tpm SDS Plus 3,1 kg Zwart, Blauw

The Bosch GBH 2-28 F is a rotary hammer designed for medium-duty drilling and chiselling tasks. It is built around an 880 W motor that delivers an impact energy of 3.2 J and an idle speed up to 4000 RPM. The tool accepts SDS Plus bits and enables drilling in wood up to 30 mm and in steel up to 13 mm. With a 4 m power cable and a compact weight of 3.1 kg, the perforator balances portability with continuous operation for construction and renovation work.

Advantages

The tool combines a powerful motor with a moderate impact energy level for effective concrete drilling and chiselling while remaining lightweight for reduced operator fatigue. SDS Plus chuck compatibility ensures fast bit changes and a wide range of accessory availability. A 4 m cable gives improved reach on sites without immediately requiring an extension, and the compact 3.1 kg body supports easier handling in overhead or confined-space applications.

Key specifications

How to use

Fit an appropriate SDS Plus bit for the selected material and ensure it is locked securely in the chuck. Select the required mode (drilling, hammer drilling or chiselling) and set the correct speed if the tool has a variable-speed control. Hold the perforator with both hands, position the bit perpendicular to the work surface and apply steady pressure; let the tool do the work rather than forcing the bit. For chiselling, use controlled strokes and maintain a stable stance. After use, disconnect from the mains before changing accessories or performing maintenance.

Recommendations

Use suitable personal protective equipment, including eye protection, hearing protection and dust control measures. For prolonged work, allow intermittent cooling periods to avoid motor overheating and check the condition of the power cable regularly. Match drill bits and chisels to the SDS Plus system and the material to achieve efficient results and prolong tool life.
