Bosch GIC 12V-5-27 C PROFESSIONAL industriële inspectiecamera 8,3 mm IP67, IP54

The Bosch GIC 12V-5-27 C PROFESSIONAL 8.3 mm IP67 inspection camera is a compact diagnostic tool designed for visual inspection in confined or hard-to-reach spaces. The system includes an 8.3 mm diameter probe with a flexible shaft of 150 cm and delivers video at 1280 x 720 pixel resolution. Built to Bosch Professional standards, the device is rated IP67 for dust and water protection and supports removable storage via microSD cards up to 32 GB. A USB Type-C cable is included for power and data transfer, enabling quick saving and review of images and video on a computer or compatible device.

Advantages

The inspection camera combines a narrow-diameter probe and high-definition imaging to help identify faults and inspect components with minimal disassembly. IP67 protection ensures reliable operation in dusty or wet industrial environments, while the included USB Type-C interface simplifies file transfer. Lightweight construction and compact dimensions make the unit easy to position and maneuver during inspections.

Suitable for

• Inspecting engines, gearboxes and confined mechanical assemblies
• Examining ducts, pipes and HVAC systems
• Checking welds, corrosion and seals in industrial equipment
• Routine maintenance inspections in automotive and manufacturing settings

How to use

Insert a compatible microSD card (max 32 GB) into the device before use and connect the inspection camera with the supplied USB Type-C cable if you need to transfer files or provide external power. Gently feed the 8.3 mm probe into the inspection area while observing the live image on the device display or connected computer. Adjust probe position slowly to avoid damage and to obtain steady images at 1280 x 720 resolution. After inspection, safely retract the probe, power off the unit, and remove the microSD card for archiving or review.

Recommendations

For reliable results, clean the probe after each use and avoid forcing the flexible shaft into overly tight bends. Use in environments consistent with IP67 protection — the device is suitable for dusty conditions and temporary immersion but should not be exposed to continuous submersion. Use recommended microSD cards and ensure connectors are dry before connecting the USB Type-C cable.
