How to use

Place or mount the GPL 5 G on a stable surface or attach it to a metal structure using the integrated rotation mount and magnets. Turn the device on with the two-position switch; in the on position the instrument self-levels automatically within ±4°. Use the projected points to mark 90° layouts, transfer points from floor to ceiling, or align fixtures. When finished or for transport, switch the unit off to lock the pendulum.

Recommendations

For best visibility and accuracy, use the Bosch GPL 5 G within its specified range (up to 30 m) and operate on fresh AA batteries. Avoid exposing the laser optics to direct impact; clean the recessed glass with a soft, dry cloth.
