Brother TZESL251 labelband zwart op wit

Primarily designed for long-term identification of networking cables with diameters from 3.0 to 6.6 mm, the Brother TZe-SL251 24 mm self-laminating labelling tape prints black text on a white background and is intended for use with compatible P-touch professional label printers. The tape includes a laminated overcoat that is automatically applied during printing to protect text from abrasion, moisture and chemicals, making it suitable for wrapping around wider CAT5e/CAT6/CAT6A cables while maintaining legibility over time.

Advantages

The Brother TZe-SL251 uses a specially formulated adhesive and durable materials to ensure labels stay firmly attached to cables for many years. The self-laminating design provides an added protective layer over the printed text to resist temperature changes, sunlight exposure, water, chemical contact and mechanical wear. The 24 mm width allows secure wrapping around larger-diameter cables while keeping identification clear and protected.

Suitable for

• Labeling CAT5e, CAT6 and CAT6A networking cables (3.0–6.6 mm diameter)
• Data centers, server rooms and structured cabling installations
• Field service and network maintenance tasks
• Long-term cable identification in indoor and protected outdoor environments

How to use

Install the TZe-SL251 cassette into a compatible Brother P-touch professional label printer following the printer’s loading instructions. Design your label using the printer or accompanying software, then print. After printing, wrap the printed self-laminating tape around the cable so the laminated overcoat covers the text; the adhesive backing will secure the label in place. Ensure the tape is pressed firmly onto the cable surface to maximise adhesion.

Recommendations

Store unused tape cassettes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. For best results, apply labels to clean, dry cable surfaces and avoid placing labels on cables with excessive dirt, grease or loose outer jackets. Verify compatibility with your specific Brother P-touch model before purchase.
