C2G 2 m Cat6 afgeschermde UTP netwerk-patchkabel blauw

The C2G 2m Cat6 Booted Unshielded UTP Network Patch Cable in blue provides a 2 meter connection for high-speed data transfer between network devices. Built to Cat6 standards with a 550 MHz rating, this cable supports the increased bandwidth requirements of transmitting video, audio and data. The moulded snagless boot protects the RJ-45 connector during installation and offers strain relief for longer service life. This blue Cat6 patch cable is a direct upgrade from Cat5e when greater throughput and reliability are required.

Advantages

Cat6 performance with a 550 MHz rating enables higher data rates and improved signal integrity compared with Cat5e. The unshielded UTP construction keeps the cable flexible and suitable for typical office and home installations. The moulded, snagless boot prevents the connector clip from catching during routing and provides additional strain relief to reduce wear at the connector ends. Available in blue to assist with colour-coded network organisation.

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device (computer, switch or router) and the other into the corresponding port or patch panel. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; the moulded boot provides strain relief but maintaining gentle curves preserves signal performance. For neat installations, use colour-coding and cable management accessories to keep runs organised.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6 booted UTP patch cable for short to medium runs up to typical Ethernet segment limits, and replace existing Cat5e cables where higher throughput or improved signal integrity is required. Avoid exposure to extreme heat or prolonged moisture to maintain cable performance.
