C2G 3m Cat6 afgeschermde UTP-netwerk-patchkabel grijs

The C2G 3m Cat6 Booted Unshielded UTP Network Patch Cable in grey is a 3‑metre Cat6 Ethernet cable with RJ‑45 connectors, designed for high‑speed data transmission up to 550 MHz. The moulded snagless boot protects the connector clip during installation and provides strain relief. This unshielded UTP cable is suitable as a direct replacement for Cat5e installations that require higher bandwidth for video, audio and data transfer in home or office networks.

Advantages

The Cat6 specification supports higher bandwidth and improved signal performance compared with Cat5e, enabling faster network speeds for demanding applications. The snagless moulded boot reduces the risk of connector damage and cable snags during routing and installation. With standard RJ‑45 terminations and a 3 m length, the cable offers easy connectivity between switches, routers, patch panels and devices. The grey colour allows for discreet installation or colour-coding within a structured cabling system.

How to use

Plug one RJ‑45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into a switch, router or patch panel. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sharp edges to maintain signal integrity. The snagless boot covers the clip to prevent catching during installation; press the clip fully into the port until it clicks to secure the connection. For best results, keep the cable away from sources of electrical interference and maintain proper bend radius.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6 booted UTP patch cable for short to medium horizontal runs within racks or between devices on the same floor. Replace existing Cat5e patch cables when higher throughput or improved network performance is required. For long backbone runs or environments with high electromagnetic interference, consider using shielded cables or fibre where appropriate.
