Advantages

The V1Pro offers fast recycle performance of about 1.5 seconds at typical power settings, ensuring quick readiness for continuous shooting. Battery power provides portability and stable output without dependence on AC power. The round flash head reduces harsh shadows and creates a natural falloff, while the compact housing and straightforward controls make the unit easy to attach to camcorders or camera shoe mounts. The black finish minimizes reflections and visual distraction on-set.

Suitable for

• Run-and-gun videography and ENG-style shooting
• On-camera portrait and interview lighting
• Event coverage where portability is required
• Location shoots without immediate access to mains power

• Typical recycling time: approximately 1.5 seconds
• Head design: round for soft light distribution

• Intended use: camcorder and camera-mounted flash for photo and video

How to use

Attach the Godox V1Pro to the camcorder or camera hot shoe and ensure the battery is charged before use. Set the flash output and exposure settings on your camera according to scene requirements, then test-fire to confirm balance between ambient light and flash. For continuous shooting, allow the unit to recycle between bursts; the typical recycle interval is around 1.5 seconds depending on power level and battery charge. Use diffusers or bounce techniques with the round head to achieve softer highlights and more flattering portraits.

Recommendations

For consistent results, keep a spare charged battery available during longer shoots, position the flash slightly above or angled from the subject for natural catchlights, and monitor battery level to maintain stable recycling times.
