CarPlay smart apparaat TBOX-AR Android AI met smart dashcam – TBOX-AR

TBOX-AR is a CarPlay smart device that combines Android AI functionality with an integrated smart dash cam. It connects to a vehicle’s factory Apple CarPlay system and provides access to Android and Apple apps on the car dashboard, supports wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, and records 1080P video with automatic emergency capture using a built-in gravity sensor. The unit includes GPS/GLONASS/Beidou navigation, dual-band Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and supports SIM and TF (SD) cards for standalone mobile connectivity and storage.

Advantages

The device runs Android 9.0 on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon SDM450 processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage (expandable to 128GB via SD card), enabling installation of apps from Google Play and smooth multimedia playback. The integrated 1080P dash camera uses a 1/2.7" CMOS sensor with a 148° wide-angle F1.6 lens and automatically records and locks emergency video when an impact is detected. Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto support, voice assistants (Siri/Google Assistant), steering wheel control compatibility and plug-and-play installation offer convenient, hands-free operation.

• Drivers who want continuous or event-triggered 1080P dash cam recording
• Owners of factory-equipped CarPlay vehicles (models since 2016) seeking a multimedia upgrade

The device is plug-and-play for compatible factory Apple CarPlay systems; once powered it will pair wirelessly with an iPhone or Android phone to enable wireless CarPlay/Android Auto and provide access to Android apps on the dashboard screen. The dash cam records continuously or automatically locks video on impact; use the touchscreen, steering wheel controls, or voice assistant to control playback, navigation and media apps.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use a high-quality class 10 or UHS-I TF/SD card for video recording, ensure the vehicle’s factory CarPlay system is a 2016-or-later model listed as compatible, and keep the device firmware and phone OS updated. Avoid installing the unit where it obstructs driver view or interferes with vehicle controls.
