CHERRY K5V2 compact toetsenbord gaming USB QWERTY Engels wit 67 toetsen RGB LED

The CHERRY K5V2 is a compact 65% gaming keyboard with 67 mechanical keys, RGB LED backlighting and a wired USB connection. Co-developed by CHERRY and Xtrfy, it combines German engineering and Swedish design to deliver a durable, highly customisable keyboard for gamers. The K5V2 features hot-swappable CHERRY MX2A Red switches, a metal plate construction, double layers of sound-dampening foam and pre-lubed PCB-mounted stabilizers.

Advantages

The K5V2 offers hot-swappable CHERRY MX2A Red switches with premium lubrication and a redesigned spring for smoother actuation, improved acoustics and a rated lifespan of 100 million keystrokes. Its ultra-customisable design lets you replace switches, stabilizers, keycaps, cable, frame and even the logo plate without soldering. A compact 65% layout preserves arrow keys while minimising desk footprint. Super-scan technology scans all keys every 0.5 ms for faster keystroke detection, and per-key RGB illumination provides advanced lighting with a USB 3 mode for boosted RGB performance. All settings are configurable from the keyboard itself—no software required.

Suitable for

• Competitive and casual gaming where compact size and fast key detection matter
• Users who want to customise switches, keycaps and external parts without soldering
• Desk setups requiring a small 65% keyboard with arrow keys
• Those who need durable hardware with long switch lifespan for heavy use

How to use

Connect the keyboard to a computer via the included USB cable and select USB 3 mode if enhanced RGB performance is required and a USB 3 port is available. Use the onboard key combinations to adjust lighting, macros and media controls; no software installation is necessary. To change switches or other swappable parts, remove the keycaps and use a switch puller to replace hot-swappable switches, then reassemble the keycaps and test functionality.

Recommendations

For best acoustic performance and longevity, keep the keyboard on a stable, flat surface and avoid excessive moisture or direct sunlight. When changing switches or keycaps, handle components with care and power down the keyboard before performing hardware swaps.
