Cinchstekker ShiverPeaks 51400-RG — rood, vergulde contacten

ShiverPeaks 51400-RG RCA (Cinch) Plug in red with gold-plated contacts is a male audio connector designed for terminating RCA cables and restoring worn connectors on analog audio and A/V systems. The plug provides corrosion-resistant signal transfer and a stable mechanical connection for home audio, Hi-Fi components and multimedia equipment. Its color-coded red housing enables easy identification of the right-channel signal during installation and maintenance.

Advantages

The connector features gold-plated contacts that resist oxidation and maintain low contact resistance over time, contributing to consistent audio quality. The precision-machined contact and secure housing deliver stable mechanical retention and reliable electrical continuity. The compact design fits standard RCA jacks while the color-coded shell simplifies cable management and channel identification.

Suitable for

• Terminating analog RCA audio cables for stereo systems
• Repairing or replacing worn RCA connectors on AV cables
• Connecting consumer audio devices such as CD players, amplifiers, and receivers
• Home theater installations where clear right-channel identification is required

Key specifications

• Connector type: Male RCA (Cinch)
• Housing color: Red (right-channel identification)
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts for corrosion resistance
• Compatibility: Standard RCA jacks and cables for analog audio and A/V
• Application: Audio termination and connector replacement

How to use

Strip the cable to expose the center conductor and shield according to the connector's assembly requirements, insert the conductors into the plug body, then secure the connector according to its mechanical fastening method (solder, crimp or screw depending on model). Verify correct polarity—center conductor to the tip contact and shield to the outer contact—and test continuity before final installation. Ensure the red housing is used for the right audio channel to maintain consistent channel identification.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use clean, well-prepared cable ends and avoid excessive mechanical strain on the terminated cable. Periodically inspect contacts for contamination and clean with appropriate contact cleaner if needed. Match cable diameter and connector assembly method to ensure firm mechanical and electrical connection.
