Kabelverbinder 3,5 mm ShiverPeaks BS51110-2 zwart

The ShiverPeaks BS51110-2 is a 3.5 mm female wire connector in black, supplied as a pack of two. Designed for creating reliable audio connections, this connector accepts standard 3.5 mm plugs and provides a compact, durable coupling point for headphones, portable audio devices, and custom wiring projects. The black finish integrates unobtrusively into consumer and professional audio setups while the construction is intended for repeated insertion and removal cycles.

Advantages

This 3.5 mm female wire connector offers stable electrical contact suitable for line-level and headphone signals. Its compact form factor saves space in enclosures and panels, and the black finish reduces visual distraction in installations. Supplied in a two-piece pack, the connectors give you a spare for testing or redundancy. The materials and build are chosen to support regular use and to maintain consistent signal transfer over time.

Suitable for

• Repair or replacement of broken 3.5 mm jacks in audio equipment
• Custom audio cable assemblies and DIY electronics projects
• Panel or enclosure mounting where a small female audio connector is required
• Prototyping and testing of audio signal paths

Key specifications

• Connector type: 3.5 mm female
• Colour: black
• Pack contents: 2 connectors
• Application: audio signal (line-level, headphone)
• Mounting style: wire connector for cable termination or panel installation

How to use

Prepare the cable by stripping the appropriate lengths of insulation from the conductors. Insert and solder the conductors to the corresponding terminals of the female connector or secure them according to the connector's termination method. If the connector is designed for panel mounting, cut the mounting aperture to the specified diameter and secure the connector in place before final wiring. After assembly, test the connection with a known-good audio source and headphones or measurement equipment to verify continuity and correct channel polarity.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term performance, avoid exposing the connectors to excessive moisture or corrosive environments and ensure solder joints are clean and mechanically supported. Use strain relief on cables to reduce stress on soldered joints and verify polarity before final assembly to prevent damage to connected devices.
