CLUB3D USB Type-C naar DisplayPort 1.4 8K60Hz HBR3 Actieve adapter

The CLUB3D USB Type C to DisplayPort 1.4 adapter (model CAC-1567) converts a USB Type-C host output that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode into a DisplayPort 1.4 signal, enabling connection to DisplayPort displays at up to 7680 x 4320 (8K) at 60 Hz with HDR when the source supports DSC1.2 and HBR3. The adapter is uni-directional and transmits a native DP signal from USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 hosts that expose DP Alt Mode.

Advantages

This compact adapter supports high-bandwidth HBR3 and DisplayStream Compression 1.2 for 8K60 output where the source permits, is FCC and CE EMI certified, and has a soft UltraFlex jacket to protect the cable from bending and deformation. It is lightweight (approximately 42 g) and finished in black and silver for a discreet look.

Suitable for

• Connecting USB Type-C laptops or tablets with DP Alt Mode to DisplayPort monitors
• Driving high-resolution displays up to 8K@60Hz when source supports DSC1.2 and HBR3
• Using with Thunderbolt 3 hosts to pass through a DisplayPort signal

How to use

Connect the USB Type-C plug of the adapter to a host device that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode (DP 1.4 or DP 1.2). Connect the DisplayPort connector to your monitor using a DisplayPort cable. Ensure the source device’s graphics settings and the monitor’s input are configured for DisplayPort; resolution and refresh rate are determined by the source device and monitor capabilities. When used with a Thunderbolt 3 host, the adapter transmits the DisplayPort signal provided by the host.

Recommendations

For best results, use with devices that support DP 1.4, HBR3 and DSC1.2 and with high-quality DisplayPort cables; check the host device specifications to confirm supported resolutions and Alt Mode capabilities.
