Coax-antennekabel ShiverPeaks 80208-20MHQ, 20 m, chroom-metaal coaxstekker

Coaxial antenna cable ShiverPeaks 80208-20MHQ is a 20 m cable designed for connecting televisions, set-top boxes and tuners to terrestrial antenna systems or other RF sources in a home cinema or TV installation. The cable uses a chrome metal coaxial connector that provides secure mechanical contact and maintains shielding to reduce interference over a long run. Its length and construction make it suitable where a reliable, shielded connection is required to preserve signal quality across a room or between equipment.

Advantages

The cable combines a 20 m length with a durable chrome metal coaxial connector to offer both reach and mechanical robustness. The coaxial design preserves shielding to minimise electromagnetic interference and signal loss over distance. The metal connector ensures stable mating with standard RF sockets and improves connector longevity compared with plastic fittings.

Key specifications

• Cable length: 20 m
• Connector type: chrome metal coaxial connector
• Application: TV, set-top box, tuner to antenna/RF source
• Design: shielded coaxial lead suitable for RF signal transmission

How to use

Route the 20 m cable from the antenna or RF source to the receiving device, avoiding sharp bends and tight coils to maintain signal integrity. Firmly insert the chrome metal coaxial connector into the device's aerial or RF input until it seats securely; ensure mating threads (if present) are engaged but not overtightened. If using wall plates or splitters, connect to the appropriate RF ports and verify all connections are secure before powering devices and tuning channels.

Recommendations

For best results, keep the cable run away from mains power lines and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Use quality connectors or adapters if converting between connector types, and inspect connectors periodically for corrosion or damage. When installing permanently, secure the cable with clips at regular intervals to prevent strain on connectors.
