Coaxiale haakse adapter ShiverPeaks 83420

The Coaxial Angle Adapter ShiverPeaks 83420 is a right-angle connector designed for coaxial cable systems and consumer RF equipment. It provides a compact, 90-degree connection that allows cables to be routed in tight spaces while maintaining electrical continuity and reliable signal transfer. The adapter is intended as an accessory to redirect connections and to reduce mechanical stress on the cable and mating connector.

Advantages

This coaxial angle adapter offers a space-saving right-angle configuration that helps manage cable routing in confined installations. By changing the cable exit direction, it reduces bending stress at the connector interface and supports more organized cable runs. The design is compatible with common consumer RF setups and aims to preserve signal integrity by providing a stable mechanical connection.

Suitable for

• Redirecting coaxial cables in wall-mounted TV installations
• Reducing connector strain in tight AV cabinets and media centers
• Space-limited RF equipment racks and set-top boxes
• Temporary or permanent connections where angled routing improves accessibility

Key specifications

• Connector orientation: right-angle (90 degrees)
• Interface type: coaxial male-to-female coupling suitable for common RF cables
• Primary function: signal routing and mechanical strain reduction
• Typical use environment: indoor consumer electronics and AV installations

How to use

Attach the adapter by securing the male end to the corresponding female connector and then connect the coaxial cable to the adapter's female end, or vice versa depending on installation. Ensure connectors are threaded or fastened according to the connector type until snug; avoid excessive torque to prevent damage. Verify the connection for firm mechanical fit and check signal operation after installation.

Recommendations

Use the adapter where a 90-degree change of direction reduces bending radius and mechanical stress. Inspect connections periodically for signs of wear or looseness and replace the adapter if corrosion or degraded contact is observed. For optimal performance, pair the adapter with compatible quality cables and avoid using it in outdoor or wet environments unless specified by the equipment documentation.
