Coaxiale connector F-type Axing QEW 5-10

The Axing QEW 5-10 is a coaxial connector with F-type terminations engineered for reliable connections in cable television and satellite installations. This compact component features two F-type connectors to join or extend coaxial cables while maintaining consistent signal transmission. Designed for straightforward installation, the connector supports standard RG6/RG59 coaxial cables used in domestic and commercial AV systems. The single-piece pack provides a flexible solution for point-to-point connections and short inline extensions where a quick, low-profile join is required.

Advantages

The connector delivers low-loss signal transfer and secure mechanical coupling to minimize reflection and interference across TV and satellite frequency ranges. Its F-type threaded interfaces offer broad device compatibility with receivers, set-top boxes, wall plates and distribution equipment. The compact, metal-bodied construction ensures stable contact and durability under normal indoor conditions. Installation is simple and does not require specialized tools when used with prepared, properly stripped cable ends.

How to use

Prepare each coaxial cable end by stripping the outer jacket, braid and dielectric to expose the centre conductor and ensure the conductor is straight and undamaged. Align the prepared cable ends with the connector’s F-type threaded sockets and screw the cable connectors firmly by hand until they are snug; avoid over-tightening to prevent damage to the cable or connector. After installation, verify signal quality at both ends and check for any visible looseness or corrosion over time. For best results, use with appropriately terminated coaxial plugs and protect outdoor connections from moisture with suitable sealing methods.

Recommendations

Use the Axing QEW 5-10 for short inline joins where minimal signal degradation is required. For long runs or critical installations, verify insertion loss with test equipment and prefer low-loss cables and professionally terminated connectors. Avoid exposure to prolonged outdoor weathering unless additional sealing is applied.
