Coaxiale stekker BNC ShiverPeaks 98806

The ShiverPeaks Coaxial Connector BNC ShiverPeaks 98806 is a 75 Ω BNC connector designed for reliable audio and video signal transmission. Constructed for durability, it is suitable for installations where stable impedance matching and minimal signal loss are required. The connector fits standard BNC cables and equipment, providing a compact and secure connection point for broadcast, surveillance, and consumer AV systems.

Advantages

This BNC connector offers consistent 75 ohm impedance to maintain signal integrity across analog and digital coaxial links. Its robust mechanical design reduces the risk of intermittent connections in rack-mounted, wall-mounted, or portable setups. The connector’s simple push-and-twist coupling ensures quick mating and unmating without special tools, while materials and plating choices support long-term performance and low contact resistance.

Suitable for

• Professional video distribution and broadcast equipment
• CCTV and surveillance camera systems
• Home theatre and consumer AV connections
• Signal testing, patch panels and lab setups

Key specifications

• Impedance: 75 Ω nominal for minimal reflection and return loss
• Connector type: BNC coaxial with standard bayonet coupling
• Contact design: central pin for secure signal conduction
• Mechanical durability: designed for repeated mating cycles
• Compatibility: suitable for standard 75 Ω coaxial cable assemblies

How to use

Strip the coaxial cable to expose the conductor and dielectric according to the connector manufacturer’s recommended dimensions, insert the prepared cable into the connector body and secure any crimp or compression elements as required. Align the connector with the mating BNC jack, push in and rotate the coupling sleeve to lock the bayonet. Verify a secure mechanical and electrical connection by gently tugging and testing signal continuity or transmission quality with appropriate test equipment.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the connector with properly matched 75 Ω cable and maintain clean contact surfaces free of corrosion or debris. Avoid excessive bending of the cable near the connector and follow standard installation practices for strain relief and grounding where applicable.
