Coaxkabel Megasat 100223 500m wit 75 Ω

The Megasat 100223 coaxial cable is a 500 meter white 75 Ω cable designed for audio and video signal transmission. Manufactured by Megasat, this cable is suited for long runs in installations where consistent impedance and low signal loss are required. It complies with RoHS standards and is intended for use in residential, commercial, and light professional AV setups.

Advantages

This coaxial cable offers uniform 75 ohm impedance along its full 500 m length, which helps maintain signal integrity over long distances. The white outer sheath provides a neutral appearance for visible installations and easier integration into interiors. RoHS compliance indicates that the cable is produced without certain hazardous substances, aligning with environmental and safety requirements.

How to use

Plan cable runs to minimize sharp bends and avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines to reduce interference. Strip the outer sheath and dielectric carefully to expose the conductor and braid without nicking them; attach appropriate F-type, BNC, or other compatible connectors depending on the application. For long continuous runs, consider using a single continuous length rather than multiple splices to preserve signal quality. After installation, test signal levels and impedance where possible to ensure proper transmission.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use quality connectors and maintain gentle bend radii as specified by the cable manufacturer. When routing near other cables or electrical equipment, allow separation to minimize interference. In installations requiring extreme weather resistance or burial, select additional protective layers or specialized outdoor-rated variants.
