Coaxkabel ShiverPeaks 5,0 m F-type

The ShiverPeaks 5.0m F-type coaxial cable provides a 5-metre connection for audio and video signal transmission between devices with F-type connectors. Designed to meet BS80095-128 standards, this cable aims to deliver consistent signal transfer for television sets, satellite receivers and cable set-top boxes. Its fixed length and standard F-type terminations make it suitable for typical home AV and satellite installations where a straightforward wired link is required.

Advantages

This coaxial cable offers a stable electrical connection through standard F-type connectors on both ends and a uniform 5.0m length that fits common room layouts. Adherence to BS80095-128 indicates construction and performance characteristics targeted at durability and signal integrity. The cable’s construction reduces signal loss over its length and supports standard broadcast and satellite frequency ranges used in household installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs to wall outlets or set-top boxes
• Linking satellite receivers to dish LNBs or indoor equipment
• Connecting cable television sources and tuners
• Temporary or permanent home AV installations requiring a 5.0m run

Key specifications

• Length: 5.0 metres
• Connector type: F-type male on both ends
• Standard compliance: manufactured to BS80095-128 performance criteria
• Signal type: coaxial for audio/video and RF signals
• Typical use frequency range: broadcast and satellite RF bands

How to use

Ensure both devices are powered off before connecting. Screw the F-type connectors firmly onto the threaded antenna or receiver sockets until hand-tight to secure the mechanical and electrical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and pinching, and keep it away from large electrical appliances or power cables to minimise interference. After connection, power on the devices and select the appropriate input or tuning mode on your TV or receiver.

Recommendations

For best results, use the ShiverPeaks 5.0m F-type coaxial cable in indoor environments and avoid exposure to prolonged moisture or direct sunlight. If running the cable near power lines or heavy appliances, maintain separation to reduce possible interference. Replace the cable if the outer jacket or connectors show visible damage.
