Coaxstekker F-type ShiverPeaks BS85004-AG

The ShiverPeaks BS85004-AG is an F-type coaxial connector designed to provide reliable RF connections for home entertainment and telecommunications equipment. This single male connector has a 5.2 mm outer diameter contact, enabling compatibility with standard F-type female sockets used on TVs, set-top boxes, modems and signal distribution hardware. Constructed for routine installations and occasional re-terminations, the connector balances signal integrity and mechanical durability for everyday use.

Advantages

The connector offers a compact, standard F-type male interface with consistent electrical contact and low insertion loss when fitted correctly. Its metal housing and defined contact diameter help maintain shielding and reduce interference on coaxial runs. Sold individually, it is suitable for targeted replacements or single-point installations where precise connector dimensions and predictable performance are required.

Suitable for

• Connecting coaxial cables to televisions and set-top boxes
• Terminating cable runs for satellite or antenna feeds
• Linking modems and cable gateways to coaxial networks
• Repairing or replacing a single damaged F-type connector

Key specifications

• Connector type: F-type male coaxial connector
• Contact outer diameter: 5.2 mm (male contact)
• Quantity: sold individually
• Application: RF signal transmission for TV, satellite, antenna and broadband
• Compatibility: designed for standard coaxial cable interfaces and female F-type sockets

How to use

Prepare the coaxial cable by stripping the outer jacket, braid and dielectric to expose the central conductor to the recommended lengths for an F-type termination. Slide the connector onto the cable so that the central conductor sits inside the male pin and the shield makes firm contact with the housing. Secure the connector according to the connector's assembly method (crimping, compression or threaded as appropriate for the specific variant). After installation, check that the connector is snug and that the cable provides a stable signal to the connected device.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this F-type connector with properly prepared coaxial cable of suitable impedance and ensure a tight mechanical fit with the mating female socket. Avoid excessive bending or torque at the connection point and verify signal continuity with a meter or by testing the connected equipment after installation.
