Composite-switch EUROLITE AVS-402 4-kanaals composite-videoswitch (model 81013101)

EUROLITE AVS-402 Composite switch (model 81013101) is a 4-channel composite (RCA) video switch that routes multiple analog video sources to a single output. The unit allows quick selection between up to four composite inputs, simplifying source management in live events, surveillance monitoring or studio setups and reducing the need to reconnect cables.

Advantages

The AVS-402 provides a compact and rack-friendly solution for switching composite video signals. How to use

Connect up to four composite video sources to the RCA input connectors and run the composite output to a monitor, recorder or downstream video device. Use the front-panel selector to choose the active input. Verify video format compatibility and use quality RCA cables to maintain signal integrity. Power the unit according to the manufacturer’s instructions and check signal routing before live use.

Recommendations

For best results, use short, shielded RCA cables and avoid running composite cables near power lines or large cable bundles to minimise interference. Confirm the connected devices share compatible video standards (NTSC/PAL) to prevent format mismatch. Regularly inspect connectors for wear and ensure the switch is installed in a stable, ventilated location.
