Conceptronic DONN04G USB-C naar USB A/MicroB OTG-adapter 2-pack, 10Gbps (C-A), 480Mbps (C-MicroUSB)

This USB-C to USB A/MicroB OTG Adapter 2-Pack (Conceptronic DONN04G) enables data syncing and charging for USB-C devices such as smartphones, portable gaming consoles, MacBook, Chromebook Pixel and other recent laptops with USB-C ports. The adapters let you connect USB-A and Micro USB peripherals — for example external hard drives, USB flash drives, mice and keyboards — using your existing cables, avoiding the need to buy new accessories. The compact black adapters are a practical, economical accessory for everyday use.

Advantages

The adapters support USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C and USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A for high-speed transfers and also include USB 2.0 Micro compatibility for legacy peripherals. They allow both data transfer and charging, fit standard USB-C ports and have a small, durable black housing. Supplied as a two-pack, they provide flexibility for multiple devices or as a spare.

How to use

Plug the adapter's USB-C end into the USB-C port of your host device. Connect the USB-A or Micro USB peripheral to the adapter using the appropriate cable. The host device should recognise standard storage devices and input peripherals automatically; for some devices you may need to enable OTG support in system settings. Use carefully when connecting power-hungry drives — some external HDDs may require an externally powered hub.

Recommendations

For best results, connect high-speed storage devices using USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A cables and ensure your host device supports OTG and the advertised transfer speeds. Avoid forcing connectors and store the adapters in a dry place when not in use.
