Conventioneel hangslot ABUS 62581 biometrische sleutel 5 cm

The ABUS 62581 is a conventional padlock with a biometric fingerprint sensor designed for everyday security tasks such as securing sheds, lockers or doors. It has a compact body width of 5 cm and a corrosion-resistant silver finish. The lock stores up to 20 fingerprints, uses a replaceable CR2 battery and retains stored fingerprints after battery replacement, offering keyless access without the need for codes or physical keys.

Advantages

The biometric sensor operates 360° and recognises programmed fingerprints from any angle, allowing fast and convenient unlocking with a single touch. Two administrator profiles enable secure fingerprint enrolment and deletion, with long-press procedures that make accidental deletion unlikely. The hardened steel shackle and double ball locking provide a medium level of theft protection suitable for everyday outdoor and indoor use. The lock is compact and lightweight, and its replaceable CR2 battery ensures continuous operation.

To delete fingerprints, place the registered administrator finger on the sensor for ten seconds to enter delete mode. To unlock, touch the fingerprint sensor and the 360°-capable sensor will identify a stored print and release the shackle. Replace the CR2 battery when prompted by the device; stored fingerprints remain saved after battery change.

Recommendations

For reliable recognition, keep the fingerprint sensor clean and dry. Program at least two administrator fingerprints to avoid lockout. Use the lock on items with compatible shackle clearance and in applications with a medium risk of theft; for high-risk locations consider a higher-security locking solution.
