Crêpemaker JATA JECR1000 1200 W zwart blauw 30 cm

The JATA JECR1000 crepe maker provides a 30 cm non-stick cooking surface and a 1200 W heating system designed for even batter spread and rapid heat-up. Finished in black and blue, the appliance combines a compact footprint with a rotary control that adjusts temperature precisely for thin French-style crêpes, pancakes and similar batter-based preparations. The smooth plate surface and integrated rim make spreading and flipping easier while simplifying cleanup.

Advantages

The 1200 W power rating ensures fast preheating and stable cooking temperature across the 30 cm plate, allowing consistent browning and texture. The rotary temperature control offers fine adjustment to suit different batters and cooking speeds. The non-stick surface reduces the need for added fats and helps remove cooked crêpes without tearing. The appliance’s compact design and clear control layout make it suitable for home kitchens with limited counter space.

Suitable for

• Making thin crêpes and breakfast pancakes
• Preparing dessert crêpes with sweet fillings
• Cooking savory crêpes or flatbreads
• Small household kitchens and occasional use

Key specifications

• Power: 1200 W for quick heat-up and stable cooking
• Cooking surface diameter: 30 cm for standard crêpe size
• Control type: rotary temperature control for adjustable heat
• Surface finish: non-stick plate for easy release and cleaning
• Colour: black and blue housing and trim

How to use

Place the crepe maker on a flat, heat-resistant surface and plug it into a suitable electrical outlet. Turn the rotary control to the required temperature setting and allow the plate to preheat until the indicator (if present) shows ready. Pour or ladle a measured amount of batter onto the centre of the plate and use a spreader or a circular motion to obtain an even thin layer. Cook until the edges lift slightly, then flip or remove with a thin spatula. Clean the cooled plate with a soft cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners to maintain the non-stick coating.

Recommendations

For consistent results, use batter with medium viscosity and preheat the plate fully before spreading. Lightly oil the plate occasionally if you notice sticking. Allow the unit to cool before cleaning and store in a dry place. When preparing multiple crêpes, adjust the temperature slightly to account for residual heat and to maintain even browning.
