Cuttermes KWB 014009 met 9 mm verwisselbare mesjes, metaal-/kunststofgreep

The KWB utility knife 014009 with 9 mm replaceable blades is a compact cutting tool designed for precision trimming and scoring of cardboard, paper, plastic and similar materials. The metal/plastic handle combines a sturdy metal blade holder with a molded plastic grip to provide balance between durability and comfortable handling. The knife features a convenient blade-change mechanism and secure blade retention to support repeated use in workshops, warehouses and at-home DIY tasks.

Advantages

The combination of metal and plastic in the handle ensures a stable blade mount and a lightweight overall tool. The 9 mm replaceable blades are a common size that allows precise cuts and easy replacement when dull. A simple blade-change system reduces downtime and the secure retention mechanism keeps the blade firmly in place during straight cuts and light scraping. Its compact size makes it easy to carry and store while still suitable for frequent use.

How to use

Hold the utility knife with a firm grip on the plastic handle while aligning the blade with the cutting line. For cutting thicker materials, score first with light passes and then deepen the cut as needed rather than forcing a single heavy stroke. To replace the blade, follow the tool's blade-change procedure: retract or release the blade retention, remove the spent blade, insert a new 9 mm blade into the holder, and re-engage the locking mechanism. Always ensure the blade is fully secured before use.

Recommendations

Use recommended personal protective equipment such as safety gloves and eye protection when cutting. Store the knife with the blade retracted or covered. Replace blades when they become dull to maintain cutting quality and reduce the risk of slips. Keep out of reach of children and comply with local safety guidelines for sharp tools.
