Cuttermes WEDO 78 855 zwart rood zilver

The WEDO 78 855 Utility knife Black Red Silver is a fixed-blade cutting tool designed for reliable, repetitive cutting tasks. It has a blade width of 52 mm, overall length of 188 mm and a thickness of 2 cm. The tool is constructed for durability and comes packaged as a single unit in blister packaging, suitable for use in workshops, construction sites, warehouses or at home.

Advantages

The fixed-blade construction provides consistent cutting performance without the need for blade adjustment or replacement during use. A solid build combined with the specified dimensions (52 mm blade width, 188 mm length, 2 cm thickness) offers stability and control for straight cuts. Individual blister packaging protects the tool during storage and transport and makes it easy to handle as a single purchase item.

Suitable for

• Cutting cardboard and packaging materials
• Scoring and trimming of paper, foamboard and thin plastics
• Use in workshops and construction for controlled trimming
• General DIY tasks where a fixed, sturdy blade is required

Key specifications

• Blade type: fixed blade
• Blade width: 52 mm
• Overall length: 188 mm
• Thickness: 2 cm
• Pack type: blister pack, 1 piece per pack
• Color accents: black, red, silver

How to use

Hold the utility knife firmly by the handle and align the fixed blade with the cutting line. Use steady, even pressure to make controlled cuts; because the blade is fixed, avoid twisting motions that can damage the blade or the material. For thicker materials, perform multiple light passes rather than a single forceful cut. After use, store the knife in its blister packaging or a designated tool holder to protect the blade and prevent accidental contact.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as cut-resistant gloves and eye protection when working with the utility knife. Inspect the blade before use and avoid using the tool on materials that exceed its intended thickness or hardness. Keep out of reach of children and store in a dry place.
