D-Link 5-in-1 USB-C-hub met HDMI/Power Delivery

The D-Link USB-C Hub DUB-2333 is a compact 5-in-1 docking accessory that adds HDMI video output, three USB 3.0 ports and a USB-C port with Power Delivery to any laptop with a USB-C port. The aluminium-alloy, space-grey housing protects the hub while keeping it lightweight and portable. It supports up to 4K HDMI output, SuperSpeed USB 3.0 data transfer at 5 Gbps and can pass up to 60W of power through to a connected laptop.

Advantages

The hub provides a single-cable docking experience: extend or mirror your display to a second monitor at up to 4K resolution, transfer files from USB drives and peripherals at SuperSpeed rates, and charge your laptop using Power Delivery — all simultaneously. Plug-and-play operation requires no drivers and the Thunderbolt 3 compatible USB-C port offers flexible use for data, power or video. The robust aluminium housing offers protection for the internal chipset and a professional space-grey finish.

Attach USB devices (drives, phone, camera) to any of the USB 3.0 Type-A ports for data transfer. To charge the laptop through the hub, connect your USB-C charger to the hub’s USB-C power port; the hub will pass up to 60W to the laptop. No driver installation is required for Windows, macOS or Linux systems supporting USB-C display output.

Recommendations

For reliable 4K video output use a high-quality HDMI cable and ensure your laptop’s USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode or Thunderbolt 3. When charging high-power laptops, check the laptop’s required wattage — the hub provides up to 60W pass-through which may not fully charge some high-performance models while under heavy load.
