D-Link 8-in-1 USB-C hub met HDMI/Ethernet/kaartlezer/Power Delivery

Use one port to expand your laptop with a multi‑function USB‑C hub that adds a second display, a dual‑slot SD and microSD card reader, a Gigabit Ethernet port, three USB 3.0 ports (one with Quick Charge) and a USB‑C power pass‑through. The hub connects to any USB‑C port and provides wired network access, external display output, fast file transfers and simultaneous device charging.

Advantages

The hub works as a compact docking station: plug it into a single USB‑C port to access Gigabit Ethernet, connect a second monitor via HDMI (up to 4K), read SD and microSD cards, use multiple USB 3.0 peripherals and deliver Power Delivery charging to your laptop. When you need mobility, unplug the single cable and take your laptop without reconfiguring multiple connections.

Key specifications

• Ports: HDMI (supports mirror/extend, up to 4K), Gigabit Ethernet (RJ‑45), USB‑C (Power Delivery pass‑through), 3 × USB 3.0 (one Quick Charge), SD + microSD dual‑slot card reader
• Display: HDMI output with 4K support and backward compatibility with 1080p and 720p
• Card reader: simultaneous SD and microSD support for fast file transfer
• Power: USB‑C Power Delivery pass‑through to charge laptop while using peripherals

How to use

Plug the hub into an available USB‑C port on your laptop. Connect an HDMI cable from the hub to an external monitor to extend or mirror the display. Insert SD or microSD cards into the dual‑slot reader to transfer photos and video files. Attach USB devices to the USB 3.0 ports and, if required, connect your USB‑C charger to the hub’s USB‑C port to supply Power Delivery charging to the laptop while peripherals remain connected.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use a USB‑C port on your laptop that supports data and video output. Use a compatible USB‑C charger that provides sufficient wattage for your laptop to enable charging through the hub. When transferring large media files from SD or microSD cards, ensure cards are properly seated and avoid removing them during active transfers.
