Dahua Technology CS4005-4ET1GT-36 netwerkswitch managed L2 Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000) Power over Ethernet (PoE) blauw

DAHUA DH-CS4005-4ET1GT-36 is a compact Layer 2 network switch with integrated PoE, providing four PoE ports with a total PoE budget of 40 Watts. It is designed for small networks and surveillance deployments, supplying power and data over a single Ethernet cable to compatible IP cameras and other PoE devices while handling standard L2 switching functions.

Advantages

The switch combines PoE power delivery and Layer 2 switching in a small metal housing with an external power supply, supporting a switching capacity of 2.4 Gbps and a forwarding rate of 2.08 Mpps. Its operating temperature range from -10 °C to +55 °C and compact dimensions make it suitable for installation in constrained spaces. The device simplifies cabling for CCTV and small office networks by powering devices directly through Ethernet.

Suitable for

• CCTV and IP camera installations
• Small office local area networks
• Edge PoE powering for access points and VoIP phones
• Environments requiring compact, low-power PoE switches

How to use

Install the DAHUA DH-CS4005-4ET1GT-36 on a stable surface or within a network cabinet, connect the external power adapter, and link upstream network equipment to the uplink port. Connect PoE-enabled devices such as IP cameras to any of the four PoE ports using standard Ethernet cables; the switch will provide both data and power to compatible devices. Configure any required Layer 2 settings from connected management equipment if applicable; the unit handles typical switching tasks out of the box.

Recommendations

Distribute connected PoE devices so the combined power draw does not exceed the 40 Watt PoE budget. Place the switch in a ventilated area within the specified temperature range and use appropriate surge protection where necessary for outdoor camera power runs.
