For reliable operation, use a class-rated MicroSD card from a reputable manufacturer and format it in the dashcam before first use. Mount the camera centrally and slightly below the rearview mirror to minimise obstruction. Periodically check and back up recorded files to avoid data loss and ensure firmware is kept up to date if updates are provided by the manufacturer.
